Opportunities

Controller (25 needed for each day of competition) - Monitoring the performance of individual competitors. This responsibility involves documenting/scoring the catch, making sure contest rules are followed, resolving any difficulties that may occur on an assigned beat. There is one controller assigned to a single contestant on a single beat. The position reports to the Controller Supervisor. If at all possible, we would like you to be available for both days. You are expected to be available for at least one full day of competition and the volunteers meeting on Friday evening, May 5th.
Controller Supervisor (4 needed) - Oversee all activities of six or more controllers. This responsibility includes dealing with spectators and team support personnel. Moreover, auditing scoring sheets prior to official tabulation. The position reports to the Contest Coordinator. You are expected to be on hand for the morning and afternoon sessions both days, as well as prior to the competition for a training session.
Volunteer Supervisor 1 needed) - Assist in the management and organization of general volunteers. Works in concert with a specific Event Coordinator.
General Volunteer (10 needed) - Assists in the setup, maintenance, and removal of event assets as directed by a Volunteer Supervisor or Event Coordinator.
